Professional Experience
Started his career in the year 2000 as dental technician specialized in orthodontics and he’s managing since then his dental lab specialized in orthodontics, splints and surgical devices.
Being very passionate about orthodontics he decided to study Dentistry and became an orthodontist graduating “University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Hatieganu in Cluj-Napoca in 2006.
He’s been working ever since in his own private orthodontic clinic in Cluj-Napoca, treating complex orthodontic cases, TMJ disorders and combined surgical cases.
Since 2008 he is an associate professor at Iuliu Hatieganu University, Oral and Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery Clinic for orthognatic surgery and surgical planning and treatment of patients with cranio-facial deformities.
Passionate in function and dental occlusion, in 2012 starts an interdisciplinary collaboration with Florin Cofar regarding aesthetics and complex rehabilitation for adults. Together they developed DSD in orthodontics for complete rehabilitation with excellence in function and esthetics.
His wide experience is also based on multidisciplinary courses he took among this years, developing new important skills in orthodontic field: ortho-esthetics, ortho-perio, orthognatic, set-up and indirect vestibular/lingual bonding. He is also member of the Romanian, European, American Orthodontic Society and World Federation of Orthodontics.
His true passion is being around people and sharing knowledge because when you have a good heart you always have something good to give. In this belief he gave several presentations and courses at national congresses and international courses.
