Simonas Grybauskas

Simonas Grybauskas acquired his Dental and Medical degrees and was certified for oral and maxillofacial surgeryl in Lithuania. After numerous fellowships worldwide he acquired positions of Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Vilnius University and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and he accepted the invitation to become a Visiting Professor at Ferrara University (Italy). At present Dr. Grybauskas devotes most of his time to orthognathic and reconstructive surgery. Main focus of research at present is virtual surgical planning and enhancement of accuracy in the surgical field. Dr.Grybauskas is dedicated to the development of orthognathic surgery in the Baltic States and was the host and organizer of the first and the second Baltic Sea Conference in Orthognathic Surgery and Orthodontics in 2009 and 2015.

Dr. Raúl González-García M.D., Ph.D, FEBOMFS is Oral and Maxilllofacial-Head and Neck Surgeon in Spain. He works as Consultant Surgeon at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University Hospital of Badajoz, Spain, mainly focused on TMJ surgery (arthroscopy and open TMJ surgery) and oncology-head and neck reconstruction, and also in the Private Practice focused on the surgical treatment of the TMJ and advanced implant surgery (zygomatic implants). He is Honorary Collaborator of the University of Badajoz School of Medicine, Spain. He is International Member of the American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons (ASTMJS) and Active Member of the European Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons (ESTMJS). He is also Fellow of the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FEBOMFS) and Member of the Board of TMJ S.O.R.G. group. He is Director (Editor-in-Chief) of Revista Española de Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial, Editor-in-Chief of Plastic and Aesthetic Research, Associate Editor of Stomatological Disease and Science, Permanent Member of the Reviewer Commitee of International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the section of TMJ Surgery, and Member of the Editorial Board/reviewer of 60 international journals of the speciality and associated ones. He obtained his PhD Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Autónoma University of Madrid School of Medicine in 2011. He is author of more than 160 publications (120 of them in international Medline/PubMed-indexed JCR journals), author of 16 chapters in books of the speciality and has been invited as lecturer in 30 national/international congresses/courses. He is also author of the textbook “Reconstrucción Maxilomandibular Compleja: Microcirugía, Distracción Ósea e Implantes dentales” ( ISBN: 978-84-9835-608-3 ).
