Dr. Dania Tamimi graduated with a dental degree from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She trained at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and earned a doctorate of medical science (DMSc) and certificate of fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2005. She is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR).

She is a reviewer and an Editorial Board member for Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology (OOOO), as well as a reviewer for DMFR, Oral Radiology, Head and Neck, Angle Orthodontist and AJO-DO. She is the lead author on two textbooks: “Specialty Imaging: Dental Implants” and “Specialty Imaging: Temporomandibular Joint” and a co-lead author on “Diagnostic Imaging, Oral and Maxillofacial”. She lectures nationally and internationally.

She currently runs her oral and maxillofacial radiology private practice in Orlando, Florida.

   Department – faculty of Dentistry – Alexandria University (since 2008 to date). The
   practice involved all the spectrum of the specialty (Traumatology, oncology including
   oral cancer. Reconstructive surgery, free flap surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery,
   craniofacial anomalies, orthoganthic surgery, surgery of salivary Glands, surgery of the
   TMJ including ankylosis, dentoalveolar and minor oral surgery.
2. Three years resident and chief resident of General and Head and neck surgery in the
   main university hospital – Alexandria – Egypt (2005 – 2008). This included all the
   spectrum of general and Head and neck surgery.
3. ENDOSCOPIC Neck Surgery was the subject of research during the residency program.

Michael Gunson

Dr. Michael J. Gunson graduated from UCLA Dental School and continued on to receive his Medical Degree and Specialty Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from UCLA. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Gunson was invited to partner with Dr. G. William Arnett at the Center for Corrective Jaw Surgery in Santa Barbara, California. Since that time, his practice has been limited to facial reconstructive surgery, surgical correction of sleep apnea and research.

Dr. Gunson has lectured and published research on the surgical correction of OSA, the three dimensional airway changes associated with surgical correction, the medical treatment of mandibular condylar resorption, and the quantification of beauty.

Specializing in orthognathic surgery and research has enabled Drs. Gunson and Arnett to examine approximately 10,000 patients with cosmetic, functional, and OSA conditions. As a result, they have studied and improved their results while sharing information through publications and lectures.
